Acne Spot Dots

I have a combination skin but more on the acne spot dots side. I get oily in my t-zone and get breakouts, my skin made me self-conscious but it wasn’t to the point where I would drastically go on something like Accutane.

This 3 step process works wonderfully for my skin and I can definitely tell a huge difference if I stop using it! It keeps breakouts under control so that I usually only have them if it’s that time of the month. Proactiv 3-Step Acne Treatment System (30-day) Starter Size

I would definitely recommend as it noticeably helped my acne scars dissipate over a few months time. I would highly recommend giving this a try. Click here for the details

Deciding to Stop Smoking: Rising Above Withdrawal Urges

When you smoke, your body is exposed to nicotine, a very addictive substance. The longer period that the body is exposed to nicotine, the harder it is for the body to function properly without such substance. This is the reason why people who smoke, especially those who have been smoking for a long time already, may find it difficult to stop smoking. They have become addicted to nicotine, and they will need longer time just to cleanse their system from the nicotine. So, even if they have finally stopped from smoking, they are still faced with the urge to go on a relapse and smoke again. This is commonly known as nicotine withdrawal urges.

Withdrawal symptoms may come in different forms, and has different effects on different people. Some urges may take form in the following:

* Difficulty to sleep
* Always being nervous and worried
* Unable to concentrate
* May feel depressed
* May feel irritable
* May feel the urge to light up another stick of cigarette
* Increased hunger and need to eat

Thus, before you finally stop smoking, you should first have an idea on how to fight these withdrawal symptoms, because if not you may end up starting on the process all over again.

Start by knowing the possible urges that you may experience once you have finally stopped smoking. By doing so, you would have ideas on how to manage them properly when they eventually manifest. There several products which can assist you as you begin to cut down your exposure to nicotine. There are nicotine gums and patches which are available in the market to satisfy your need for nicotine without the need of smoking a cigarette. However, if you choose to buy these products, you should realize that you would still have to stop using them eventually because you would want your system to be cleansed from nicotine.

There are also medicines and prescription drugs which can help you overcome depression after you have stopped smoking. Sometimes, these medications may also help with other withdrawal symptoms aside from depression. However, before you take any of these drugs, you should consult your doctor first so that you would be guided accordingly.

These withdrawal urges may come and go throughout the day. You just have to wait it out until the urge passes. You have to fight hard not to smoke despite such strong urges. After several times of being able to fight off the urge to smoke, you will feel that such urges will become less powerful, and you will find it easier to defeat such tendencies. You just have to stay strong because it is not easy to flush out the nicotine from your body, and will surely take time before you are absolutely cleansed from it. So, as you wait, you have to stay strong, firm, and focused. Try hard not to relapse; otherwise you might end up on the starting line again, and you’d waste your efforts. Do your best to divert your attention to healthier activities so that you will not think of smoking as often as necessary. Remember your reasons for quitting, and hold on to them. The process you need to go through to stop smoking may not be easy, but it shall be worth it.

Aside from the abovementioned best acne skin care treatments, combating acne means clearing your face of dirt and excess oil.  Choose mild cleansers that contain a few percentages of benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid.  These help relieve sores and lesions.  If it's necessary for you to use moisturizers, get the ones that are non-comedogenic.  Use only oil-free make-up as these can block pores.

The best acne skin care treatment begins with you.  Living a healthy lifestyle (bet you know what healthy is) and in harmony with nature (get enough sleep) will surely benefit you entirely.

Acne Care

The first sound of its name may bring you to stop for a while because it is simply “scientific” in nature. Actually, acne rosacea skin care is similar to saying rash treatment. That, friends are for sure, more colloquial than the previous that was sort of cryptic. Anyhow, the external layer disorder is considered to be chronic and most of the time, appears so obvious because the face is the most affected area.

Caucasians should regard more importance to acne rocasea skin care because the condition is more common to those who have light complexions. A study revealed that between figures of 30 to 60 women, the total reached 14 million Americans were affected with the rashes. As for the stage demographic, there is a shocking 85 percent in teenagers while only 20 percent in adults.

Men should even more seriously have an acne rosacea skin care treatment because they are more susceptible than women. Worst, the condition is even coupled with rhinophyma where the nose becomes big and even turns red in color. Even with how advanced technology is, the cure for the disorder is not yet known albeit, for it not to entirely spread there is a call to properly watch over the largest organ, the principal coat.

Acne rocasea skin care should be concentrated more on the visage features because like it was mentioned earlier, it will initially occur on the face especially on the cheeks. Well, there is no hassle for ladies to purchase any blush- on cosmetic. Kidding aside, aside from discoloration as the most overt symptom, it will also be accompanied with throbbing, itching and burning. There are even cases where the blood vessels that were damaged can be very clear.

The more rashes will increase when you expose yourself under the heat sun as it contains perilous ultraviolet rays. Severe temperatures, be it hot or cold, can also aggravate the condition. If you are fond of eating foods that are very spicy such as putting Tabasco sauce on your pizza filled with huge green bell peppers, tone it down since it will only worsen the case.

Putting that your rashes are already very harsh especially when you spot swelling papules and pustule circles, do not ever hesitate to consult a dermatologist. Those medical practitioners are more well- versed with any conditions on the external layer. Do not ever attempt as well as to apply any chemical formulation because it would be of no amount of help.

Better Skin Begins With Your Next Meal

Consumers today are bombarded by a wide variety of anti-aging products for the body and face, whether they are simple cosmetics or surgical procedures. But the fountain of youth really just comes from better nutrition, one health expert says.

A survey by the American Academy of Dermatology found that 94 percent of women are confused by all the available anti-aging treatments (over-the counter and prescription) as well as the procedures available in a doctor's office.

Yet according to Cherie Calbom, author of "The Wrinkle Cleanse," you can look younger starting with your next meal. Her book outlines a four-step approach to getting softer, younger-looking skin, explaining that a diet rich in raw foods, vegetable juices, whole grains and lean protein can cleanse the body of toxins and protect it from the causes of wrinkles and other symptoms of aging.

The mention of vegetable juices might ring a bell: Calbom, who has a master's degree in nutrition, is better known as "The Juice Lady" for her work with juicing and health. She has appeared regularly on the QVC channel for the last eight years and is the author of several books, including "Juicing for Life."

Calbom stresses that several factors affect how our skin ages, including environmental toxins, sun exposure, free radical attacks on the cells, inflammation and a weakened immune system. Her approach to creating a better diet geared toward reduced wrinkling has four components:

* Step 1 involves quick cleanses with either an all-day vegetable juice fast or a two-day raw-food program, designed to help repair damaged cells.

* Step 2 introduces a low-carbohydrate diet for 14 days that has plenty of vegetables, sprouts, vegetable juices, low-sugar fruit, whole grains and lean proteins. One key aspect of this stage is lowering caloric intake overall.

* Step 3 is composed of cleaning programs for your intestinal tract, liver, gallbladder, kidneys and blood. Detoxification is key, according to Calbom, in the effort to fight wrinkles.

* Step 4 outlines the vitamins and minerals needed to fight the symptoms of aging and how they can be incorporated into your diet.

Calbom offers several nutritional guidelines and more than 75 easy-to-make recipes and menu plans. Her strategy emphasizes what she calls the "wrinkle fighters" - foods that are rich in nutrients to help strengthen collagen and elastin for better skin. Some examples include carrots, which add luster to the hair; artichokes for better energy; and almonds, a good source of vitamin B. There is a known sebum that works equally well and fast. Add Years To Your Life With Whole Grains

Recent studies conclude that whole grains can boost weight loss, lower blood pressure, reduce risk of diabetes and cancer, and increase overall heart health. In addition, over 600 new products containing whole grains were introduced by food companies in 2005-a sure sign that the whole grain revolution is upon us.

Yet a recent study from the Whole Grains Council found that 68 percent of Americans are unaware that they should be eating three daily servings of whole grains. Forty-seven percent said they were looking for practical ways to incorporate whole grains into their everyday diets.

The book advocates what its authors refer to as a sensible eating plan that promotes better health without deprivation. Instead of telling readers to stop eating a whole category of foods, Drs. Hark and Deen encourage them to eat more whole grains by providing a number of whole grain food options. For instance, readers are encouraged to experiment with the more exotic (but still readily available) grains such as amaranth, quinoa, and millet, while basic cooking instructions and simple recipes help even the most skittish cook take the whole grain plunge.

The result, according to the authors, is a "pain-free" way to improve overall health, lose weight and stave off disease.

In addition, the book answers some basic but common whole grain questions including: What are they? Where are they found? What will they do to my body? How much do I need to eat to get the health benefits? Are whole grains "good carbs"?
